With our assistance, the UAE Open Data portal now serves as an enhanced platform promoting the concept of a digital knowledge economy and fostering community participation and transparency. The platform upgrade has significantly improved discoverability, usability, and engagement, allowing various stakeholders to easily access and analyze datasets across a range of sectors, including economy, education, society, technology, transportation, environment, government, health, and infrastructure. This transformation has further propelled FCSC towards becoming a global leader in the open data field.
Datopian proudly partnered with the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Centre - FCSC, a branch of the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs in the United Arab Emirates - UAE, to upgrade their UAE Open Data portal. FCSC, devoted to raising awareness about the importance of accurate, high-quality data for policy-making and strategic planning, sought to advance their open data platform to keep up with the latest technological trends. Their ambition was to be among the top 10 countries worldwide in open data. Our goal was to help them achieve this by developing a modern, engaging, and user-friendly open data portal that would provide UAE-focused data to the public.
